Was pressurized to halt the nuclear testing: Nawaz

KHUSHAAB: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) continued their protest against the government by addressing a public gathering within Khushaab, Punjab on Saturday.

Nawaz stated that the government is totally incompetent and was unable to address people's issues during their tenure.

“PPP received 15 years of ruler ship and yet they did not do anything for the people of Pakistan. We (PML-N), on the contrary, only received 4.5 years and we glittered the fate of this country,” stated Nawaz.

Pointing towards Zardari, Nawaz said that Zardari’s incompetent and corrupt government has deprived people of their rights and have pushed them towards more issues and difficulties.

Talking about Gilani, “ Nawaz said that Gilani has the right to appeal but he should step down and then appeal against the decision, if the verdict comes in his favor, only then can he resume his duties.”

“I was offered $5 billion from the Western countries to halt testing the nuclear technology in Chaghi, but I kept my country above everything else,” stated Nawaz.

“We did not ask for any finance to conduct the experiment of the nuclear technology, we did not beg for finance to construct the Motorway; we financed it ourselves,” stated Nawaz.

Nawaz pointed that load-shedding has been the major issue that has been piled up on the people of Pakistan.

If it hadn’t been for the Military General, I would have served the people of Pakistan, the General deprived me of my 11-12 years or else I would have ensured that Pakistan would have prospered

Nawaz stated that during his tenure the Pakistan’s economy was strong in comparison to the Indian economy and now it is way down.

“I pay tribute to each and every individual of Pakistan who came forward and supported me with respect to our protesting long march against the government,” Nawaz finally uttered while addressing the crowd in Khushaab.
