PESHAWAR: According to sources, Awami National Party leader, Dilawar Shah, was slain to death on Friday evening. Dilawar Shah represented the Awami National Party (ANP) from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Sources have reported that  unknown armed men opened fire on the ANP member within the remit of Hasht Nagri area. The anonymous flew from the crime scene immediately after inflicting severe blows to the ANP member.

Police have taken over the area and an investigation is being carried out with respect to the incident but reports have suggested that the assailants have still not been identified.
