Nokia to launch 41 MP camera phone later this month
According to reports, a renowned vendor of camera lenses “Carl-Zeiss†agreed an exclusive deal with Nokia to develop and produce high end camera phones. A new top of the range model would be launched later this month.
Nokia and Carl Zeiss have had an agreement to make new camera phones with exclusive Carl Zeiss lenses for several years. Nokia hopes that it will help them to compete more effectively against other smart phones, including Samsung and Apple phones which have been grabbing a huge market share.
Nokia said, the first model using its new Pure-View camera technology will go on sale later this month. Its uses a Carl Zeiss sensor with 41MP, more than those in advanced cameras used by professional photographers.
