Samsung to use Quad Core processor in Galaxy SIII
Samsung Electronics Co. officially announced on Thursday, April 26, that it would use Quad Core 1.4Ghz Exynos processor in its upcoming smart-phone Galaxy SIII. Quad Core processors are faster and energy saving mobile microprocessors to power the generation of Galaxy S smart-phone.
Samsung’s senior Vice President Hankil Yoon said, “The application processor is a crucial element in providing our customers with PC-like experience on mobile devices. Samsung’s next Galaxy device, which will be officially announced soon, offers uncompromised performance and ground breaking multi-tasking features, thanks to Exynos 4 Quad’s powerful performance and efficient energy management technologyâ€
The new Samsung’s Quad Core chips are targeted at both smart-phones and Tablets, which would be introduced in the new upcoming Galaxy Smart-phone.
