American daredevil crosses Chinese canyon without safety net

In China’s Hubei province, an American daredevil called Dean Potter crossed all limits when he walked across a canyon on a one-inch thick rope, at six thousand (6,000) feet above sea level without having a back up safety net.

The American athlete who is from the state of New Hampshire, completed this daring act by crossing the Enshi Grang Canyon in China.

He walked barefoot on a one-inch thick rope for approximately 131 feet long distance from one mount-top to another, crossing the Grang Canyon in two quick minutes.

Potter, now 40 years of age, is often seen rocking on his music player with headphones while performing these dangerous acts. He is also a base-jumper, a rock climber and an expert at this technique of walking on a thick rope, called "slack-lining".
