An intermediate student of a local college in Sheikhupura has been reportedly made victim of a gang-rape by five unknown men. The victim identifies two of the men to be policemen.

According to the police, the victim was stopped by police on her way back home from college, their phones were confiscated along with some cash and the victim's cousin, who was with her at that time was threatened by the policemen. According to the police, the accused took the girl to an empty residence near Jandiala road and raped her.

Sources confirm that after being examined at District Headquarter Hospital in Sheikhupura, the officials have confirmed that the young student was in fact, raped.

The police said that a case has been registered against the alleged people and an inquiry is underway.
