Minister for Interior Rehman A Malik said the government was taking strict action against the extortionists (Bhatta Khori) in Karachi claiming that the issue would be resolved within five day.“I assure you that the problem of extortionism in Karachi would be resolved within 4-5 days and we have dispatched 400 policemen and 100 vehicles to Karachi specially in Liari area to achieve the task positively”, Rehman Malik said while talking to media men here on Friday.He said during the last 15 days three policemen have been killed during operation against the extortionists.He said all criminals would be arrested irrespective of their affiliation with any political party including Aman Party and Pakistan Peoples Party.
