Eid Milad-un-Nabi to be celebrated with religious zeal

Preparations for celebrating Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) on Sunday with religious zeal and fervour were in full swing across the country.

All bazaars, commercial, shopping centers, government and private buildings were illuminated. The city districtgovernments had finalized all the arrangements to celebrate the Eid Milad.

Sunni Tehreek organized a big conference in Karachi on Saturday. ST chief Sarwat Aijaz Qadri addressed the conference. Strict security measures were taken to save the lives and property of the people.

Roads and buildings were decorated with colorful buntings, banners and fancy lights in all the cities of the country. The daylong programmes would be started with special prayers in mosques of the district for unity, prosperity and solidarity of the country and for early liberation of Indian held Kashmir.

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi processions would also be taken out and Naat Khawan will pay tribute to Holy Prophet on this occasion special programmes are being prepared for paying tributes and to highlight different aspects of the life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) the greatest educator of mankind.

Various social, cultural, educational institutions and religious organization were finalizing their programmes for celebrating Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervor and enthusiasm here.

More than 6,000 police personnel will perform security duty for the main 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal procession in the me-tropolis on Sunday.

This was stated in a police press release issued here on Saturday.

It said that the Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh, Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, directed that fool-proof and extra-ordinary security arrangements should be made on the occasion.
