Ban on pillion-bike-riding in Karachi and Hyderabad has been lifted in effect from midnight today (Friday).

Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan announced the ban two days ago because of the 12 Rabi-ul-awal proceedings through out the city.

Gov. Ishratul-Ibad disclosed the lift on pillion-riding ban later today and declared a holiday on Saturday after meeting  various religious leaders and the Minister for religious affairs.
