Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr. Asim Hussain held a meeting on TAPI pipeline project with Indian Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas S. Jaipal Reddy on Wednesday.

According to Pakistan's High Commission in New Delhi, the issues relating to the pipeline project including transit fee and the signing of Gas Sale Purchase Agreement (GSPA) were discussed during the meeting.

Dr. Asim Hussain said that the project is of an immense importance in view of the energy requirements and reiterated Pakistan's resolve for early realization of the project.

The meeting was also attended by Pakistan's High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik.
