National Academy of Young Scientists (NAYS) will be celebrating Muslim Scientists Day on March 10 to recognize scientific contribution of Muslim experts.

Posters and banners will be displayed in all the major universities and institutes of Pakistan on this special day.

Talking to APP, President NAYS Aftab Ahmad said " We will also organize an Essay and Poster competition on the topic "The Legendary Muslim Scientists," in Collaboration with Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) on Muslim Scientists Day 2012".

Giving details he said, for essay competition the last date is February 25, while for poster competition it is February 15.

Selected Posters will be displayed in Peshawar during 3rd Workshop on Young Researchers Skill Development on March 10.

Aftab Ahmad said first three Position Holders for both competitions will be awarded Cash Prizes, Shields and Certificates.

The winning Essays and Abstracts of Posters will be published in NAYS e-newsletter. Certificate of participation will be handed over to all participants of competitions on the eve of 3rd One Day Workshop on Young Researchers' Skill Development going to be held on March 10, 2012 in Peshawar.
