Facilitation and Taxpayers Education(FATE) Wing of the FBR arranged a Taxpayers interaction seminar atRegional Tax Office (RTO) Hyderabad.

The seminar was arranged in coordination with RTO Hyderabad,as part of a series of seminars currently being arranged underTaxpayers Awareness Initiative, said a statement issued here Friday.

The seminar was attended by members of Hyderabad Tax BarAssociation, Central Sindh Tax bar, representatives of majorwithholding agents, Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Hyderabad,Mirpurkhas and Thatta. Sindh-Balochistan Rice Millers Association, representatives ofPakistan Tax Bar Association and FBR officials attended the meeting.

Detailed presentations were made on working of theFacilitation and Taxpayers Education (FATE) Wing, "Documentation ofEconomy and Tax Evasion" and "e-services for Taxpayers" followed bya detailed Questions and Answers session.

The participants voiced their concerns over the topics coveredin the presentations and highlighted their general and specificissues. The FBR officials present in the seminar addressed thoseconcerns and noted down the suggestions for further perusal.

The participants also appreciated the initiative of Taxpayers'interaction, awareness and facilitation undertaken by the FATE Wingof the FBR and said that this should be made a regular feature. Additional Commissioner, Farooque Azam Memon and DC (HQ), PeerKhalid also addressed the seminar.
