At least six people of a family including three women were killed when a car ran into a passenger van in Wazirabad area of Gujranwala.

The accident also left three of the passengers critically injured.

According to police the car with six people on board was on its way to Sialkot, when it rammed into a carry van coming from Gujranbwala at Haji Pura Chowk in Wazirabad.

The car ran off the road and turn-turtled killing all the six passengers including three women, whereas three of the van passengers received serious injuries.

The bodies and injured were shifted to the district headquarter hospital, Sialkot.
