Opposition Leader in National Assembly Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has demanded the constitution of a high power commission mandated to sort out all relevant details for creating new provinces in the country.

Talking to media outside Parliament House he said, the commission should be assigned to sort out details about distribution of assets, water, resources, liabilities, Senate seats, etc of areas where new province is to be created.

He said constitutional procedure must be adopted for creating new provinces in the country. The relevant provincial assembly has to give approval first to a new province.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is not against the creation of new provinces but set constitutional procedure must be followed in this regard, he added.
