20 dengue patients die during 24hrs

Dengue menace has continued to spread across the country predominantly in Punjab, when 20 more people lost their lives within 24 hours.

Seven patients lost their lives on Thursday while 5,500 Dengue cases have been confirmed in Punjab only.

People who get fever are afraid of getting Dengue and are queuing in the hospitals for blood screening.

Emergency has been declared in the hospitals but the problem seems uncontrollable by the management due to limited resources government hospitals and that is why patients are bound to go to private hospitals where they are over-charged.

Earlier, today 18 years old Owais and Amna died of dengue fever in a private hospital.

Another patient Fizza Hanif admitted in Mayo hospital Lahore lost her life on friday.

The other patient, a 18-year-old Mammri khan who was admitted Mayo hospital died on Sept 15.

Also to notice that, Third round of fumigation to control mosquito breeding is continuing whereas many people complained that the teams did not reach to several areas for spraying.
