Amid shooting incidents in Karachi that left at least 10 people dead late Sunday and 92 in the last nine days, the main political stakeholders differ on the means and methods of curbing violence.

Reports said the shooting incidents yesterday occurred in different areas of the city, including Orani Town, Gulistan-e-Johar, Pak colony and Sarjani Town. Police and paramilitary personnel were maintained their presence and vigilance in the affected areas.

According to officials, more than 240 people have been killed this month in Karachi while 92 people lost their lives since July 22. Eleven people, including two lawyers, were killed on Friday.
