Abbottabad commission decides to summon DG ISI for briefing
Abbottabad commission set for the probe of 2nd May incident of killing of Osama bin Laden by US forces, has decided to summon the Director General Inter-Service-Intelligence Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha for briefing over the issue.
According to the sources, the judicial commission headed by justice javed Iqbal is of the view that only DG ISI could inform the commission about the real situation of the incident.
Meanwhile the meeting of the commission would be held today (Monday) at Cabinet Division building and DG operations would brief the commission about the incident.
According to the sources the DG operations would inform the commission about the view point of the army about the 2nd May incident.
The meeting would be headed by Justice Javed Iqbal and would be attended by Lt Gen (retd) Nadeem Ahmed, former ambassador to UN Ashrraf Jehangir Qazi, former IG police Abbas Khan and Cabinet Secretary Nargis Sethi would also participate in the meeting.
According to the sources the commission has said that there is no pressure on the commission from making public the findings of the commission.
