Pakistan junior hockey team will undertake two tours of Egypt and Malaysia in August and November as a part of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF)’s efforts in order to give more international exposure to its young brigade.

According to a PHF official Rana Mujahid Ali, "the federation is trying to arrange maximum international assignments for the youngsters with an aim to prop up a solid back-up for the senior team".

“The series against Egypt will be beneficial for our junior players,” said the official.

He said PHF has the Malaysian Hockey Federation for participation of Pakistan junior hockey team in Six-Nation Hockey Tournament, first Sultan Ibrahim Cup Hockey Tournament to be played in Johor from November 5 to 12.
“The PHF has confirmed to the organisers the participation of its junior team in the event,” he added.
