Court stays PCB proceedings against Afridi

The Sindh High Court has stayed the PCB disciplinary committee's proceedings against former captain shahid afrid, and asked the board to appear before it on June 9. The court's decision comes after Afridi had filed a petition challenging the validity of the sanctions imposed on him by the PCB.

The petitioner, through his lawyers Ali Zafar and Mehmood Mandviwala, has pleaded that all the recent decisions taken by the PCB were unconstitutional and unlawful including show cause notices and suspension of his NoC to play county cricket.

Afridi pleaded that he be granted stay against all notices issued by PCB against him.
