Ghai, Ketan Mehta join hands to bring ‘Sholay’ in 3D
Believe it or not, but lovers of the greatest movie ever made in Bollywood will be in for some treat with this latest piece of news. Buzz has it that the impressive magnum opus ‘Sholay’ will be made in 3D. One of the biggest blockbusters of Hindi cinema, the 1970’s multi-starrer has achieved the status of cult among other movies of its genre.
According to sources, Subhash Ghai and Ketan Mehta have taken the initiative to convert the film suitable to watch with a three-dimensional experience.
Sources confirm that Ghai`s banner Mukta Arts along with Mehta`s Maya Digital have undertaken this project to turn ‘Sholay’ into 3D. It is said that they have already given a test show to the producers, who are impressed with the results. And soon the makers are going to make a formal announcement about the film next month.
And given the vast and rich experience of eminent filmmakers like Ghai and Mehta, ‘Sholay’ in 3D will be one of the most awaited flicks for the fanatic cine-goers.
So, get set to watch Veeru-Jay, Gabbar Singh in the new version.
