The recent spot fixing taint may affect participation of Pakistani Players in the Indian Premiere League-4 (IPL), beginning from April 2011.

According to Indian media, the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has been considering to keep Pakistani cricketers away from the IPL following involvement of several players in the match fixing row.

On the other hand, the IPL Governing Council has not taken any decision on whether to include or exclude players from Pakistan for the auction.

The auction of players for the IPL season 4 will be held on January 8-9.
