At least twenty-five people were killed and 70 wounded in a suicide bombing Friday at a coffee house in the town of Balad Ruz in central Iraq's Diyala province, a police official said.

"Twenty-five people were killed and 70 were wounded... when a suicide bomber detonated a belt filled with explosives at a coffee house in the centre of the city at 9:00 pm (1800 GMT)," said Balad Ruz police chief Major Ahmed al-Tamimi.
