Taseer dont see Nawaz call a challenge
Punjab Governor Sulman Taseer on Thursday said that he don’t sees the Nawaz Sharif’s call as challenge because the PML-N has no capacity to launch a sustained agitation.
Talking to a private television channel the governor said that the lawyers’ long march would be a single event that may attract some public attention for the time being but it would finish and forgotten very soon.
Taseer said that Nawaz Sharif is habitual agitator but his agitation calls are always ill timed.
Once again he is thinking about agitation the timing is not suitable, he added.
He said the people would not pay heed to his call adding so there is nothing for the government to fear about.
To a question the governor said that “I was expecting since long Nawaz Sharif would begin the politics of agitation and it is no surprise whatsoever for meâ€Â.
Nawaz Sharif wants to agitate a non issue and he has no organisation to launch a sustained agitation, he said.
To another question the governor said that in the changed domestic and global conditions there is no chance of a military take over.
He said the PPP has shown a lot of flexibility to PML-N to run its government in Punjab successfully but they are perhaps unable to realise it.
The PML-N was also made partner in the central government but they broken the coalition on non issue, he added.
He said the PML-N has no representation in other three provinces of the country except Punjab adding in Punjab too they do not have absolute majority.
The governor said that Shahbaz Sharif is disqualified by the court, someone else having majority in the provincial assembly would replace him.
