Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal underscored the need for trying former President General Pervez Musharraf (retd), saying this is the best time for doing so.
He also stressed that 17th amendment should be declared null and void and lawsuit against Pervez Musharraf be filed.
‘We do not want frequent long marches; but, we would not shun holding it once again if needed like the restoration of judiciary,’ he added.
He also said that the media reports surfaced several times regarding distribution of money among the politicians by ISI; but, people kept on electing Mian Nawaz Sharif.
The issue of operation in Karachi is being trumpeted in view of rising popularity of Mian Nawaz Sharif, Ahsan said.
