Singer, actress and international star Beyoncé Knowles scored a massive hit with her last album ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’, released at the end of 2008. Billboard magazine has honoured the stylish diva with the title 'Woman of the Year'. She will receive her award on 2nd October in New York.
The prestigious prize is in honour of the artist's work over the last twelve months. The magazine's Editorial Director, Bill Werde, said that they were not only giving the award to the beautiful singer for her musical success. According to Werde: "She has not only influenced pop culture with her hit songs and signature dance moves, but has inspired women everywhere with her unique style, business savvy and dedication to charitable causes." It seems that Beyoncé creates an impression in everything she does!
