Saddozai appointed Nepra Chairman

Brigadier Tariq Saddozai (retired) has been appointed as Chairman of NEPRA for five years. The appointment was made on the basis of his vast experience in the power sector, says a press release issued from Peshawar. He achieved the targets as CEO Pesco and prior to his assignment as CEO Pesco he has worked as MD of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC).

As CEO Pesco Tariq Saddozai performed well and brought line losses down from 39 percent to 33 percent and also enhanced recovery. He worked with full dedication and in the best interest of the company, he has 3 targets which he achieved, these targets are to bring the company out of the financial crunch, to reduce line losses, increase recovery and to provide better facilities to the public, he achieved these targets with the co-operation of Pesco employees. Pesco Board of Directors in its 92nd meeting has paid rich tributes to Tariq Saddozai for his performance and showed their full confidence in him.

Tariq was born in November 1955 in a respectable Saddozai family at D I Khan. He got commission in the Pakistan Army in 1973 and after performing on different important assignments in the army he was appointed as MD of KESC in 2001 where he served for 5 years and succeeded in achieving the goals assigned. He earned his engineering degree from the NED Engineering University, Karachi, and Masters in Strategic Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He has also performed services in Washington as Technical Attaché in the Pakistan embassy.-PR
