Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a phone call from Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani on Monday night, Pakistan’s foreign ministry said.

Al Zayani congratulated Dar on the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, and expressed his intention to visit Pakistan in the near future, the ministry said.

Dar welcomed Al Zayani’s desire to visit Pakistan and thanked him for his sentiments.

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy to achieve peace and stability in the region and beyond.
