New investigation team formed to probe Mir Raza death

A new investigation team has been formed to probe the death of young Karachi businessman Mir Raza Ali, with DIG Crime and Investigation Amir Farooqi appointed as its head.

An official notification regarding the formation of the new team has been issued, according to police officials on Sunday.

Inspector Chaudhry Ghazanfar has also been appointed as a member of the investigation team, along with Syed Muhammad Ali Raza, SP Qais Khan and SP Anum Tajammul.

The team has been tasked with conducting a comprehensive and impartial review of all aspects of the case.

Investigators have been directed to collect and preserve evidence and conduct a fresh analysis of forensic evidence, officials said.

The team will submit daily progress reports to senior authorities and has been directed to complete the investigation and submit its report to the court within the stipulated timeframe.
