A Lahore Sessions Court has summoned TikToker Rajab Butt, Salman Haider and other accused to appear on Aug. 11 in a case filed by TikToker Ayesha Jatt over an alleged rape, court documents showed.
Additional and Sessions Judge Zafaryab Chadhar said there was sufficient evidence against the accused and directed them to appear in court and defend themselves.
The court also summoned the investigation officer for proceedings.
In a two-page written decision, the court said the plaintiff had submitted WhatsApp chats, a medical report, a statement recorded under Section 164 and recovery memos, among other documents.
A case has been registered against Rajab Butt, Salman Haider and other accused at Nawab Town police station.
