Gold prices recorded a sharp increase in both local and international markets on Thursday, with the price of one tola rising by Rs9,100 to reach Rs428,736.

According to the latest market rates, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs7,802 to Rs367,572.

In the international market, gold prices climbed by $91 per ounce, taking the global rate to $4,063 per ounce.
