Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs1,187 per tola on Saturday, tracking gains in the international bullion market, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of gold per tola rose to Rs431,323, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs989 to Rs368,074.

In the international market, gold prices rose by $11.87 to $4,088 per ounce.

Bullion experts attributed the increase in local gold prices to rising precious metal prices in global markets.
