Indian TV actress Sanchita Ugale found dead at Mumbai residence

Indian television actress Sanchita Ugale has died at her residence in Mumbai’s Nalasopara area on Sunday evening, according to media reports.

The actress, known for her roles in famous Indian TV serials Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya, Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, was reportedly discovered at her home around 7pm on June 14.

Reports said Sanchita lived with her parents and sister and was alone in her bedroom at the time of the incident.

The room was reportedly locked from the inside.

Family members rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her unresponsive on arrival.

The news came hours after the actress shared a social media reel in which she appeared dancing and lip-syncing to a Bollywood song.

Actor and former co-star Sorab Bedi expressed grief over her death in an Instagram Story, writing: “No chotuuu. You were, you are, and you’ll always gonna be my fav gonna miss you.”

Sanchita rose to prominence for portraying Diya Tandon in Kumkum Bhagya and Ruchita Jaitley in Wagle Ki DuniyaNayi Peedhi Naye Kissey.

She also appeared as the younger version of Maharani Tarabai in the film Chhaava.

The sudden news of her death has left colleagues, friends and fans shocked.
