Gold prices rise in Pakistan as global prices climb

Gold prices rose in Pakistan on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market.

The price per tola climbed Rs4,370 to Rs444,336, while 10-gram gold rose Rs3,933 to Rs379,880, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Friday, gold had gained Rs7,250 per tola, closing at Rs439,966.

Internationally, gold rose $43 to $4,219 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.

Silver also edged up Rs200 per tola to Rs7,279.
