At least six children were killed and one injured after the roof of a mud-built house collapsed in the Rahimabad Basi area of Alpuri tehsil in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla district, rescue officials said on Tuesday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the incident occurred late on Monday night when the roof of a room caved in, trapping seven children beneath the debris.

Six of them were pronounced dead, while one injured girl was shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Alpuri for treatment.
Officials said the deceased children were between four and 15 years old.
The victims included five girls and one boy, although earlier reports had put the toll at four girls and two boys.
