Bullion prices in the domestic market witnessed another sharp increase on Saturday in line with their hike in international markets.

According to market sources, the price of gold rose by Rs1,300 per tola, bringing the rate to Rs476,162 per tola.

The increase has caused concern among families who are planning to buy jewellery for the upcoming wedding season.

The increase was also reflected in the 10-gram gold price, which saw a rise of Rs1,115, taking the price to Rs408,232.

Gold prices in international markets increased by $13, reaching $4,538.3 per ounce.
