Gold prices fall in Pakistan as global market weakens

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday in line with losses in the international market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,400 to settle at Rs475,362 in the local market.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs2,057 to Rs407,546.

A day earlier, gold prices had surged by Rs4,600 per tola to reach Rs477,762.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $24 per ounce to settle at $4,530, including a premium of $20.

Silver prices also recorded a decline, with per tola rates falling by Rs153 to Rs8,117.
