Law enforcement agencies have arrested Fauzia Baloch, her sister Sakeena, and an associate identified as Mola Bakhsh in connection with an alleged drug supply network distributing crystal methamphetamine (Ice) and heroin across Karachi.
During interrogation, Fauzia disclosed that the narcotics were transported from Peshawar to Islamabad before reaching Karachi, with five individuals based in Peshawar directly involved in the supply chain.
She named Shoaib Baloch, Anees, and Javed as three central figures in the operation.
A significant lead has emerged from the investigation: a government employee named Abdul Shakoor has been identified as a key supplier, allegedly providing Ice and heroin from Peshawar. Investigators are now pursuing his whereabouts.
High-quality ice was being supplied at up to Rs200,000 per kilogram, according to the interrogation findings.
Sakeena, arrested alongside Fauzia, was revealed during questioning to be her biological sister.
Fauzia has since been transferred to judicial remand and shifted to prison as the investigation continues.
