A major live tribute production celebrating Michael Jackson is set to be staged in Abu Dhabi, bringing the late pop icon’s music and performances back to the stage in a large-scale concert format.

The show, titled This Is Michael, will take place at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on August 22, 2026.

The production will feature live vocals, dancers, musicians and full concert-style staging built around some of Jackson’s most popular songs.

At the centre of the performance is artist Lenny Jay, known for his vocal and stage resemblance to Michael Jackson.

The show has previously toured internationally, drawing large audiences across Europe and Latin America.

The setlist is expected to include more than 20 of Jackson’s biggest hits, alongside choreography and visuals inspired by his signature performance style.

Tickets for the event will first be available through a Mastercard presale starting May 19 at 12pm, followed by general sale on May 21 at 12pm.
