Despite the high-profile arrest of ’cocaine queen’ Anmol Pinky, the online drug supply network in Karachi remains operational, sources said on Saturday.
Investigative sources revealed that Anmol Pinky’s purported handlers have changed their contact numbers and continued selling drugs.
Following Anmol Pinky’s arrest, messages reportedly circulated to customers informing them that her previous number was no longer in service, but her associates were still providing the service.
The messages claim that the drug is available 24/7 throughout the week.
Two types of drugs were reportedly advertised in these messages:
— ‘Golden Stuff’allegedly priced at Rs25,000 per gram, and ‘Silver Stuff’ allegedly priced at Rs15,000 per gram.
The messages also instructed customers not to send payments to accounts previously associated with Fayyaz Communications, which have since been blocked.
The sources said that team members of Anmol Pinky’s network have issued new contact numbers, and law enforcement agencies have received the updated details and information about the online network.
The sources said that despite the arrest, the drug supply chain has not been completely dismantled.
Investigations indicate that drugs were being sold via online orders and digital payments.
Authorities are continuing to probe facilitators and financial links within the network.
