The Lahore District Court on Tuesday adjourned proceedings in a case against YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai, and other accused over the alleged illegal promotion of gambling apps after investigators sought more time to submit a forensic report.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the case in Lahore District Court, where the investigating officer requested additional time to file the forensic report. The court granted the request and adjourned the hearing.

Saad-ur-Rehman and the other accused appeared before the court and marked their attendance.

The court had previously indicted the accused in the case.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has registered a case against influencer Aroob Jatoi and others for allegedly promoting gambling applications illegally.

In a separate hearing in Lahore Sessions Court, Additional Sessions Judge Zulfiqar Ahmed Naeem heard a petition seeking interim bail for Aroob Jatoi, the wife of Saad-ur-Rehman, in connection with the same allegations.

During the hearing, the investigating officer told the court that a forensic report comprising around 2,000 pages had been received, but its printing process was still pending.

The report would be submitted to the court within the next two days, the officer said.

The NCCIA requested more time to submit the report, after which the court extended Jatoi’s interim bail until June 4.
