Citing sources, the reports said Trump’s advisers are increasingly discussing the possibility of returning to a more forceful military stance.

According to people close to the talks, Trump’s frustration is partly driven by the ongoing blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and what he sees as internal divisions within Iran’s leadership.
