Two children tragically drowned while bathing in a water pond near Dhani Bakhsh Goth in the Gulshan-e-Maymar area of Karachi, police reported on Saturday.

Authorities said a pit was dug during construction work, and the children accidentally fell into it.

The victims have been identified as 10-year-old Zeeshan and 11-year-old Waseem.

The children’s bodies were recovered and transferred to a nearby hospital for further procedures.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
