PM Shehbaz to visit China in May to boost strategic ties

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit China in May, with both sides expected to accelerate high-level engagements and deepen economic cooperation.

According to official sources, the visit will include meetings with top Chinese leadership, where discussions will centre on bilateral relations, trade, and investment opportunities.

Progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will form a key part of the agenda, alongside efforts to advance new agreements and attract further Chinese investment.

Regional and global developments will also be discussed, with Pakistan expected to brief Chinese officials on the evolving Middle East situation and ongoing tensions involving the United States and Iran.
