Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, tracking losses in the international market. The price of gold dropped by Rs1,000 per tola to Rs500,162 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs857 to Rs428,808, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, gold prices had already declined sharply, with per tola rates falling by Rs4,900 to settle at Rs501,162.
In the international market, gold prices slipped by $10 to $4,778 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also followed the downward trend, falling by Rs59 to Rs8,358 per tola.
