Gold and silver prices in Pakistan declined again after a brief pause, reflecting changes in the global market and currency fluctuations on Monday.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, gold prices dropped by Rs4,900 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs251,162.

The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs 4,201 to Rs429,665.

In the international market, gold prices declined by $49 per ounce to $4,788.

Silver prices also recorded a decrease in the local market, falling by Rs145 per tola to Rs8,417.

Experts said the decline was driven by global price fluctuations and changes in the dollar-rupee exchange rate.
