Gold prices in Pakistan’s bullion markets fell on Monday, with the price per tola dropping by Rs1,600, according to the All Pakistan Bullion Gems and Jewellers Association.
The new price of gold per tola stands at Rs495,362, while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs1,371 to Rs424,693.
In the global market, gold also saw a decline, dropping by $16 to $4,730 per ounce, according to market data cited by bullion associations.
Some foreign reports indicated a sharper fall of $49, bringing prices to $4,713 per ounce.
Silver prices also moved downward. In Pakistan, silver per tola fell to Rs7,934, while internationally it dropped by $2 to $74 per ounce.
The decline reflects weakening trends in both local bullion trading and global commodity markets.
