US President Donald Trump has claimed that large numbers of empty oil tankers are currently heading toward the United States to load oil and gas, signalling confidence in American energy reserves amid global market uncertainty.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said some of the world’s largest tankers were en route to the US to collect what he described as the “best and sweetest” oil and gas available globally.

He further asserted that the United States possesses greater oil reserves than the combined resources of the next two largest oil economies, along with superior quality.

“We are waiting for you. Quick turnaround!” Trump wrote, indicating readiness to supply energy to global markets.

The statement comes at a time when high-stakes negotiations between the United States and Iran are underway in Islamabad, with global attention focused on the outcome.

A key issue in the talks is the security of shipping routes, particularly the Strait of Hormuz, a critical artery for global oil supply.
