Authorities in Pakistan have established a state-of-the-art media centre to facilitate local and international journalists covering the upcoming US-Iran negotiations, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Saturday.
The facility, located at the Jinnah Convention Centre, has been equipped with high-speed internet, workstations, charging points and dedicated spaces for live reporting, press briefings and interviews.
Tarar said the centre has been designed to support comprehensive media coverage of the Islamabad talks, with large screens broadcasting domestic and international news channels for journalists on site.
Shuttle services have also been arranged between the media centre and designated hotels to ensure smooth transport for accredited reporters.
Earlier, Pakistan announced visa-on-arrival for journalists and official delegations arriving from the US and Iran to cover the high-profile negotiations.
The US-Iran talks are expected to draw significant numbers of media personnel amid heightened diplomatic efforts to ease regional tensions.
