Israeli attacks continued across southern Lebanon on Wednesday despite the US and Iran agreeing to a two-week ceasefire.
Israeli attacks include artillery shelling and a strike on a building near a hospital that killed four people, Lebanon’s state news agency NNA reported.
It also reported attacks on several other towns and on a medical point that caused injuries.
Radical Israeli regime leader Benjamin Netanyahu has said the Iran ceasefire announced by Trump would not include Lebanon.
That contradicts an earlier statement by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who said Lebanon would be part of the ceasefire.
It was also not immediately clear how soon the ceasefire elsewhere would take full effect.
At least eight people were killed and many more injured after an Israeli strike on a cafe in the Lebanese port city of Sidon, the health ministry said on Wednesday.
The strike came even as Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran.
