Oil prices down after Pakistan-brokered US-Iran ceasefire

Following the announcement of a temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran on Wednesday, crude oil prices fell sharply, a drop credited to Pakistani diplomacy.

US crude oil became cheaper by $16.26, with May contracts trading at $96.69 per barrel.

London Brent crude also fell by $14.23, reaching $95.04 per barrel.
